If You Ever Had To Leave

If You Ever Had To Leave

The people that you love make your world a better place… As you do for them too. Sometimes they're so special that they feel like they are your world. And the thought of ever losing them is one of life’s biggest fears - I think. So, I wrote this poem  'If You Ever Had To Leave'.

What to say when you don’t know what to say.

What to say when you don’t know what to say.

If you're struggling to express your condolences and everything sounds trite, I think acknowledging that you're lost for words is a perfect place to start.

Creating space for difficult words

Creating space for difficult words

Talking is so often beneficial for processing emotions, and those wonderful people holding space for these conversations are doing such a fabulous job.I have been sent some incredibly moving feedback from teachers who have been using Love Never Dies at their schools to help any children experiencing grief.I wanted to help this by creating a set of colouring-in sheets based on my illustrations in Love Never Dies.

If Christmas Is Hard

If Christmas Is Hard

23rd December 2019 I sat beside my Christmas tree in my PJs with tears rolling down my face as I read so many heartbreaking comments of all the people who  had 'needed to read this today'. I replied with hugs and condolences to as many as I could, many people had lost loved ones that day. I vowed right there that I'd make sure to create a physical card the following Christmas.
